Vander Zanden Real Estate Company, LLC was founded in 1975 by the late John Vander Zanden. John Wheeler, the sole member of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors' (SIOR) in the Green Bay market, assumed ownership of the firm in 1982.

The SIOR network consists of more than eight hundred offices throughout the United States, Canada and Europe, with membership criteria representing the highest standards in the industry. Vander Zanden Real Estate Company also belongs to the Wisconsin Commercial Realtors Association interacting with all commercial brokers in Wisconsin.
